From Eden to Golgotha to Glory, God’s Love Never Fails
Lord, You are simply amazing! From Eden to Golgotha to Glory You remain. You have pursued us with Your love through light and darkness, good and bad, joy and sorrow. You pursue us.
You are faithful.
Bless Your holy Name!
May we never forget who You are. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. You are Elohim — Creator of the Universe. At Your command the ocean knows how far to come, and the sun knows when to return from its slumber.
Your love is better than life.
And it’s crimson thread is woven throughout all time — from Eden to Golgotha to Glory.
You are victorious, Lord.
You are victorious for us.
Even from the perfect creation of Eden where You walked with Your people, and talked with them and enjoyed their fellowship.
But when they failed, even though angry and hurt, You began Your pursuit for us. It took approximately 4000 years to Golgotha. But it didn’t stop there. Two thousand more years and You are still pursuing us with Your love. Oh what great, relentless love, Lord. The suffering. The jeers. The nails. The blood … the precious blood shed for me.
That I might know You.
That I might be set free from my shame.
That I might walk with You and talk with You.
That I might have everlasting life.
When that stone was rolled away from the tomb, You stood. Divine light poured from heaven onto You, through You, radiated from You. Light so pure. Go glorious. So amazing.
Death had lost its sting.
Glory had prevailed.
Lord, You have pursued me through my own Eden to Golgotha to Glory journey. You have always been there. Your love has never failed me and I know it never will.
You are my Anchor, my Constant, my Sure Place on this difficult journey through a fallen world — a world fallen from the glory of God.
The Miracle of Redemption … What a Story!
Thank You for letting me step into the light of Your glory where You embrace me with Your love. May I never take it for granted. May the miracle of redemption never become so familiar that it looses the wonder and power in my life.
