Lord, Your ways are not my ways, Your thoughts not my thoughts. You alone are God and I trust You, I depend on You, and I find my hope in You alone.

You Alone Are God, Therefore Our Footing is Sure
Many are the afflictions of Your children. Many are frightened, overwhelmed. Many are angry, risking bitterness of heart.
But then, when we remember that You are God, and we are not, and when we remember that You have authority over all things and that Your thoughts towards us are good …
THEN we can find our sure footing once again.
Our world may rock and roll, but You are constant — You change not, for You alone are God.
You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble, for You alone are God.
And You are good.
You Alone Are God, the Keeper of My Heart
I can trust You to direct my paths. I can trust You to watch over and keep me — You are the Keeper of my heart. You are sovereign — I need not worry, I need not race ahead of You with impatience and defiance.
Teach me to wait. Teach me to place all of my hope in You — not in people, not in worldly possessions, not in circumstances. In You, Lord, for You alone are God.
I love You, Lord and I give You praise.
