“May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” ~ Ephesians 3:19, NLT
“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” ~ Acts 20:24, NKJV
“And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in His grace until His task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns.” ~ Philippians 1:6, TLB
The Old Rugged Cross is Where I Cling
Lord, life is hard, but You are faithful. Fear abounds in the hearts of Your people, but You are with us giving us courage. You are with us because of the old rugged Cross … and that is enough.
When all around us is sinking sand, the Cross is enough because You are enough.
The old rugged Cross.
O Lord, how we say that like we’re saying the sky is blue! But Lord, the old rugged Cross is the crux of the matter — it’s what connects us to You. Because of the Cross all things are possible. We are made children of the Most High God!

And in You all of our needs are met. You are the great I AM — I Am That I AM. You are all we will ever need.
In You there is healing.
In You there is provision.
In You there is peace.
Bless You, Lord.
In our moments of despair, remind us of the old rugged Cross. Open the eyes of our heart to see the image of our Savior hanging there, dying for us, so that we could know You and have life eternal.
The Old Rugged Cross is Enough
Open our eyes to see the resurrection morning when Your Son appeared in all His glory to conquer death and sin. Your resurrection power dwells in us because of the old rugged Cross. May we never forget that. Empower us to tackle our problems head-on, not because of who we are, but because of who You are and because You are with us always.
Resurrect us now, Lord, from the pits of despair and sorrow. Draw near and revive us, Lord.
For You are a great God, worthy of all praise.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen
