“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
“Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!” ~ Psalm 27:13-14, NKJV
We Must Look to See the Goodness of God
Lord, thank You for being so good. Goodness is innate within You. It is who You are. I hold fast to this truth in light of this world that is spinning out of control. As I think on who You are, I find reassurance that, indeed, Your children will see the goodness of God in this land in which we live.
Strengthen our hearts as we wait on You, Lord.
Keep Your face ever before us as we consider Your ways.
I also ask that You infuse us with Your courage as we work hard to be a light in this present darkness. Nothing takes You by surprise. Nothing is beyond Your hand. Remind us of this as we determine to walk by faith and not by sight. We choose to keep our eyes focused on You, Lord.
I know many who are fearful. I know many who, not only stand by helplessly as depravity of heart fills our land, but who also are experiencing severe shaking in their own lives. The trials are fierce. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but You, Lord have promised to deliver us out of them all.
You have promised that will we see the goodness of God in the land of the living. We don’t need to wait on that time that we step across the threshold of eternity. We will see Your goodness now because You are with us.
Hide us in the cleft of the Rock while You — Your goodness — passes us by.
Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for the hope You bring us — hope for a better day. We will wait on You with hope in our hearts, not focused on our circumstances, but focused on who You say You are.
There is Hope for a Better Day. We Shall See the Goodness of God
You are our God. You are sovereign, reigning supreme over all the earth. You are our Peace. And You are our God who sees us and knows all about it.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord!
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen

Sweet blessings to you,
Thank you for your words of encouragement, I am blessed,
I don’t know what to do, I have pray .but what is weighing me down is at the age of 53+ I am still trecking , I don’t have A CAR, please I don’t know whom God will use for me, I only trust in God
I am sorry for your hardship. I am comforted to know that God sees us and knows all about the things that concern us. I have learned to praise Him in the difficult places, to sing my love to Him when despair tries to crush me. I encourage you to do the same. Consider using the time of walking to pray and praise, thanking Him for the hardship because it allows time alone with Him. I know that sounds ridiculous, but God’s ways are not our ways. When we have a heart of thanksgiving no matter the circumstances, He has space to work in our lives. My husband is very sick and I am his caregiver, so we, too, must trust God for our provision. But, as we place our hope, our trust, and faith in Him with a heart of thanksgiving, He provides. Not always as quickly as I would like, but He always takes care of our needs. Remain faithful in the hard places. The joy of the Lord is your strength! I am praying right now that the Lord will go before you and give you favor. I am asking Him to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings above and beyond all you can imagine as you put your trust in Him. Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor the heart of man imagined all that God has prepared for those who love Him. Praise Him in this difficulty and I believe He will respond with His goodness. Sweet blessings to you, Nan
