Send out your light and your truth;
let them guide me.
Let them lead me to your holy mountain,
to the place where you live.
There I will go to the altar of God,
to God—the source of all my joy.
I will praise you with my harp,
O God, my God! ~ Psalm 43:3-4, NLT
Lord, my soul longs for Your touch, for Your presence — Your light in my shadows of suffering.
Jesus Understands Our Suffering
You are well acquainted with suffering and for that I am thankful. I’m thankful because You understand my heart. My suffering pales in comparison to others, and yet my spirit is troubled and I lack peace.

But You are my peace.
You are my comfort and security.
You are the light in my darkness.
Bless You, Lord!
Be my song in the night — let it burst forth from the depths of my being as I remember Your goodness.
As I remember Your love
Your abiding presence.
The Lord Himself is in the Shadows of Our Suffering
Open my eyes to see You in the shadows of my suffering. You are there. I know this to be true for You promised to never leave me, nor forsake me. When I’m at my lowest, You raise me up in Your arms and hold me near to Your heart.
Your light dispels my darkness and I am no longer afraid. Kindle Your fire within me once again, Lord. Let it blaze bright for Your glory.
For You are my God and I am Your child. I’m so thankful for You.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen

Good morning dear Sr!
On this first day of Spring I find myself feeling so thankful for its promise of new growth, birth, and hope.
I pray for you and your family, that you are well and anticipating the work of our Father through this time which we face worldwide!
Your love of our Father which is evidenced in your written and spoken work is an inspiration and strength to many, Nan. Today’s devotion is no exception! Thank you so much!
I am thankful for the myriad wonderful ways our Father uses to encourage me. Just yesterday, our Awesome God gave me words for a new song of hope.
I believe that I was led to share this with you and several other individuals. Knowing that His will is always perfected for His Glory, I walk forward.
It is my hope that you also experience the same thankfulness for His great love toward us even now.
Please let me know if you would like to see/hear the video recording, Nan. It is my witness to the Power which still leads us forever onward.
Blessings in Christ Jesus, Rose Naomi
