You are my helper, God. Help me remember that.

Surely God is my help;
    the Lord is the one who sustains me.
~ Psalm 54:4, NIV

So we can say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper,
    so I will have no fear.
    What can mere people do to me?” ~ Hebrews 13;6, NLT

“The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing. ~ Zephaniah 3:17, NKJV

Lord, life can be so hard sometimes. Please forgive me when I allow my attitude to sour and my heart to get muddy with murmuring. You are my helper, God. Help me remember that.

Help me be quick to look to You when I get overwhelmed. Help me gather Your grace when my spirit feels weak and fiery arrows are zooming in from every angle.

Will You Help Me Bring My Thoughts Captive to You, Lord?

You are good. You are my peace. When I forget to think about those things worthy of praise, would You bring something to my remembrance? Will You help me bring my thoughts captive to You?

You are my helper, God. Help me remember that.

You are my helper, God. You are the keeper of my soul. When I am weak, You make me strong. When I am consumed with sorrow, You help me laugh at the absurdity of it all. When despair is knocking on my door, You offer me hope and quiet me with Your love.

I’m so thankful, Lord. I don’t want to ever take You for granted. Your love amazes me. Your faithfulness reaches to the sky. I have known Your great power and felt the touch of Your tender watch-care.

You Are My Helper, God. Thank You

Indeed, You are my Helper, God … in all things. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. With You by my side, I know everything will be okay. I can rest in You and find peace.
