When we approach God boldly, we find mercy and grace to help us in our time of need.

For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. ~ Hebrews 4:15-16, AMP

Lord, what an amazing God You are. How can I ever grasp how deep and how wide Your love for me is? How can I even think about approaching You, a holy God?

In the beauty of Your majesty, You are pure and holy, perfect in all Your ways. You shine Your glorious light in my darkness. You make my crooked ways straight.

To approach God boldly is to know Him as His child.

That is because of Your love.

That is because of Jesus.

You search my heart and know my anxious thoughts even before I approach You. Maybe that’s why I don’t feel worthy to come into Your presence.

You know the real me.

I’m thankful that my righteousness is not of myself, but comes through the Blood of Jesus Christ — HE makes me righteous. And in His righteousness I can come before You, Lord. I can approach You boldly with my needs.

In Authentic Faith We Can Approach God Boldly

Because of Your great love, You extend mercy and grace to me in my time of need.

When we approach God, He welcomes us into His arms of love.

You welcome me into Your presence. You delight in Your children.

And You make all things new.

Yes, You are Almighty God, but You are also my Father, and You always, always welcome Your children home.
