He is the Alpha & Omega, but I'm found in the middle

“And He also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty, I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be My children.” ~ Revelation 21:6-7, NLT

“But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” ~ Romans 8:25, NKJV

Lord, You Are …

Lord, I love the knowledge of Your sovereignty. I love the fact that You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. But I’m here in the middle, waiting, wondering … hoping for a heavenly response to my need.

He is the Alpha and the Omega. I am found in Him.

Give me eyes to see, Lord. Give me tenacious faith to wait, perseverance to hope.

For You are the God of miracles. You are not a man that You should lie — there is no God besides You.

So I trust You.

I know every good gift comes from above, but it’s hard to wait, to rest in hope when it feels like stagnation — stuck in the middle.

Because I know that I know You are the Alpha and Omega, I realize that You are the One who is, who was, and who is to come.

The One who is …

That’s present-tense, Lord. You will not fail to complete the good work You have begun in me. You are with me every moment of every day. You are for me and not against me.

And You are faithful.

He is the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End

Therefore, here in the middle, my hope is alive. When I fail and lose ground, Your love surrounds me and puts me back on solid ground. When I can’t see ahead because of the fog, I can hold fast to the Truth that You direct my steps as I yield to You — You are my light in the darkness, the Everlasting God.

He is the Alpha and the Omega. I am found in Him.

As I consider that You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, please give me a glimpse of the magnitude of who You are and how this impacts my life.

I need only to remain faithful to You step by step, and remember that You know where I’m going AND You are already there waiting for me to arrive.

Praise You, Lord! Blessed be Your Name. You do all things well and I’m learning that Your timing is, indeed, perfect.

Even when it feels like I’m stuck in the middle, I am actually found in the middle. You are working all things together for my good.

Thank You, Lord. I love You.

In the Name of Jesus, I pray,

Amen — let it be so.
