“I will walk the blind by an unknown way
and guide them on paths they’ve never traveled.
I will smooth their difficult road
and make their dark mysteries bright with light.
These are things I will do for them,
for I will never abandon my beloved ones.” ~ Isaiah 42:16, TPT
“Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, ‘I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.'” ~ John 8:12, NLT
“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come,
And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1, AMP
Your Light, Lord, Diffuses Our Darkness
Lord, You are the Light of the World. In You there is no darkness. In You is found the hope of mankind.
There is no shadow of turning with You — only light, as we behold Your glory.
Turn our eyes on You, Lord, so that the things of this earth will grow strangely dim. The earth is rocking and rolling right now, the depravity of man is heightened, and darkness is seeping from every corner spreading fear, frustration, and chaos. Desperation taunts Your children from every side.
Darkness seems to be winning.
But I know in my knower it’s not.

I know You have overcome the darkness — it will not prevail. You are the Light of the World. You spoke and said whoever follows You will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
We stand on that promise, Lord.
You have rescued us from darkness.
Your light within us — diffuses the darkness of the earth. When we seek You first. When we feast on Your Word and find our identity in Christ.
Awaken our hearts to love You more, to worship You in Spirit and Truth. In our praise we find You.
In our praise, the light bursts forth and scatters the darkness.
You, Lord, are our light and our salvation. Whom shall we fear? What shall we fear? Depression? Dementia? Violence in the streets of America? Pandemic? A republic that is threatened with corruption?
Lord, Your Light Steadies Our Heart
No, Lord, You are the strength of our lives. We will not be afraid of the dark because You have overcome the darkness. Give us the courage and tenacity to walk by faith and not by sight.
Bless You, Lord. Thank You for Your light and for Your great love.
In Jesus’s Name I pray,
Amen — let it be so
