“Let God arise,
Let His enemies be scattered;
Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.
As smoke is driven away,
So drive them away;
As wax melts before the fire,
So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
But let the righteous be glad;
Let them rejoice before God;
Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.” ~ Psalm 68:1-3, NKJV
“The Lord replies, ‘I have seen violence done to the helpless,
and I have heard the groans of the poor.
Now I will rise up to rescue them,
as they have longed for me to do.’” ~ Psalm 12:5, NLT
Many Are the Afflictions of the Righteous
Lord, I love the power of Your might, and I love the tenderness of Your watch-care over Your children. Your love guards us fiercely. Rise up, O God, and scatter my enemies. They are many and are making life hard.
My enemies aren’t clothed in flesh and blood. They are principalities of darkness that won’t leave me alone. They know just how to trigger fear and upsettedness in me. They know how to make me question everything, how to stir discontentment in my heart.

But, I will stand for Your righteousness, Lord.
I will be content in all things because that honors You and acknowledges Your sovereignty.
And I will offer You a sacrifice of praise on the hardest days, because You draw near when I praise You, and because You alone deserve all praise!
Regardless of how my day is going.
Rise up, O God, and shine Your light abroad in the darkness.
Surround me with songs of deliverance. Enclose me from before and behind where the enemy cannot reach me.
I love You, Lord. You are my song in the night, the glory and the lifter of my heard. Thank You for hearing me when I cry out. Thank You for searching the earth for Your child who needs to be encouraged and strengthened,
When I need for You to rise up, O God. You do. Just for me. Just for Your children because we are precious to You. You take delight in caring for us.
Rise Up, O God for You are Faithful
Send forth Your light, send forth Your angel armies to defeat the foe and bring us into victory.
Thank You for being who You say You are. I love You.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so
