“Continually pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.” ~ Hebrews 12:14, AMP
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:23, NKJV
“Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things [which are dishonorable—disobedient, sinful], he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified [set apart for a special purpose and], useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.” ~ 2 Timothy 2:21, AMP
He Has Called Me to be Holy
Lord, I know You have called me to be holy as You are holy — to represent You well. You have called me to be Your image-bearer to this fallen world. I long to be Your hands and feet, but I also know that requires sanctification. I want you to sanctify me Lord, truly I do — but does it have to be right now?

Sanctification requires dying to self, yielding to You at ALL times not just when it feel good. Being set apart for Your glory and for Your kingdom work requires pruning and sculpting … and LOTS of grace.
Your grace is sufficient. I know this well.
Sanctify me Lord. You are the Potter and I am the clay. May my life speak of Your holiness, Your compassion … Your steadfast love.
It’s so easy to speak those words, but then the flesh rears its ugly head and bucks at Your instruction. Flesh wants its own way and wants to feed its own desires.
Forgive me, Lord. Those things I want to do, I don’t do. And those things I don’t want to do, I do! Thank You for helping me recognize the conflict for what it is. Strengthen me to overcome.
Sanctify me, Lord, that I might know You more, that Your Holy Spirit might move freely in my heart without disruptions and barriers to Your fellowship.
Sanctify Me Lord, and Help Me Yield to You
I know this is Your will. I know You will be faithful to complete the good work You have begun in me.
Quicken me to yield to Your mighty hand.
In the Name of Jesus I pray,
Amen
