Jehovah Shammah, whatever I may face has already faced You
Father, You are the omniscient, omnipotent, Almighty God — You are Jehovah Shammah, the Lord Who is There. I do not walk alone … You are always by my side.
When I pass through the waters, I will not drown because You are with me and You carry me safely to the other side. When I walk through the flames of adversity, I will not be burned because You are a shield about me. You protect me fiercely, O Keeper of my soul.
I’m doing my best to walk in righteousness while I follow Your lead. As I approach uncertain days, I am not afraid because You, Jehovah Shammah, are already there. I have no need to fear tomorrow. Whatever I may face, has already faced You!
Blessed are they who walk in Your ways, who praise Your holy Name. Your Word is my guide, a lamp unto my feet. You will never lead me astray. You will never send me into the darkness alone. I find my strength in You — You make me brave, Lord. You give me the feet of a deer to walk on treacherous paths of the high hills. I can traverse them gracefully because of Your presence.
I have placed my confident trust in You, Lord
I long for more, I yearn for You, Lord. Your presence is my heart’s desire. I rely on You, Jehovah Shammah, for it is Your promise to always be there with me, no matter what lies ahead that makes me love You more. I have placed my confident trust in You. You are the One who empowers me. Your mercies are new every morning and I find Your grace to be more than enough.
Blessed be Your holy Name. I worship You in the beauty of Your holiness … I make my home in You.
