You tell me to take heart, daughter. I'm trying, Lord

 ‘Jesus turned, and seeing her He said, ‘Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.’ And instantly the woman was made well.’ ~ Matthew 9:22, ESV

 “Be strong and courageous [take heart]. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” ~ Deuteronomy 31:6, ESV

“Wait for and confidently expect the Lord;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.” ~ Psalm 27:14, AMP

“Take Heart, Daughter,” I hear You Say

Father, You are my Beloved, and I am Yours. You love me with an everlasting love. You care for me so completely, healing my brokenness, and replacing my dread with peace. You often remind me to “Take heart, daughter,” and I try … truly, I do.

But some days I don’t walk in the victory that is mine.

I need Your help. You promise that when I am weak, You will be strong. I know Your eyes roam to and fro across the earth looking for those who love You, who need to be encouraged. That’s me, Lord. Life has been very hard lately, the battles fierce.

I have battle fatigue.

“Take heart, daughter,” I hear You say. O Lord, make me brave to endure. Make me strong to persevere through the storm. I’m tired. I’m weak and I am worn.

But I am not alone, for You are with me. Your presence is like a healing balm to my hurting heart. Lift high my shield of faith, Lord, and set my eyes on You.

I am strong.

I am more than a conqueror.

You Are My Beloved, and I am Yours

I will take heart and be of good courage because I am Your daughter. Your love will never fail me.

In the Name of Jesus, I pray,

Amen ~ let it be so
