“But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out … I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.” ~ John 10: 3, 14-15, NKJV
“The Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have asked; for you have found favor (lovingkindness, mercy) in My sight and I have known you [personally] by name.'” Exodus 33:17, AMP
“And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—
secret riches.
I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord,
the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.” ~ Isaiah 45:3, NLT
“But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you.
O Israel, the one who formed you says,
‘Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you.
I have called you by name; you are Mine.
When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.” ~ Isaiah 43:1-2, NLT
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” ~ John 3:16, NKJV
I Am Overwhelmed with Wonder that You Know My Name, Lord
Lord, I love You, and I am so thankful for my salvation. May I never take it for granted. When I consider the works of Your hands, when I think about You, the Lord of lords and the King of kings, knowing my name, I am overwhelmed with wonder.

How can it be? Before I was formed in my mother’s womb, You knew me. When You suffered and died on the Cross, I was on Your mind. I cannot fathom such love, yet I know Your love is true. I am embraced by the depth of Your love, transformed and renewed — Jesus, You restore my soul.
I have walked with You for so long now that I cannot imagine life without You. Yes, You are my Savior and Lord, but You are also my friend. You know my deepest secrets and love me anyway. You listen when I murmur and complain and gently remind me that a thankful heart is much better than a frustrated one. You laugh when I laugh, and You weep when I weep … because You care for me.
Thank You for teaching me Your voice. When You call my name, I hear You and my spirit stirs within me. My name is written on the palms of Your hands — those same palms that took the nails and secured You to the cross for me. I was on Your mind even then.

When I knelt at the cross in our sanctuary, You whispered my name and called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. You made me whole, You healed the broken places, and gave me the wings of an eagle to rise above life’s storms.
You gave me eternal life.
Thank You for My Salvation, Jesus
Thank You, Lord Jesus. You are my everything, my all in all. As deep calls to deep, I call to You and I hear You whisper my name. You, Lord, are the joy of my heart. Thank You for loving me so beautifully.
In Your precious Name, the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so
