God Will Be Our Strength When Life is Hard
Lord, not only are You my refuge, but You are my strength when life is hard. My strength, Lord!
You. Are. My. Strength.
When I am weary and worn, You come alongside me and carry me. You affirm me as Your child, reassure me with Your love. When I am overwhelmed with despair, You are my hope.
Help me, Lord, to walk in these Truths.
Take me by Your hand and lead me to the Secret Place beneath Your wing where I can hear Your delicate whisper.
I choose You, Lord.
I choose to trust You for strength in the hard times, for I know You are faithful. Even when I can’t trace Your hand I can always trust Your heart.
Will You Trust God to be Your Strength in the Hard Times?
These hard times did not take You by surprise, but they are much bigger than me. Help me, Lord. Pour Your strength into me to wipe away the weariness and despair. Reach down and pull me out of the pit of miry clay and set me high upon the Rock — high above the enemy who seeks to take me out.
I will be strong … in Your Name.
I will be brave … in Your Name.
I will overcome … in Your Name.
For You are a great God, my hero, my Victor. Your love astounds me, Your grace sustains me. Bless Your Holy Name!
