Thank You for Your resurrection power that You imparted to us. This is beyond comprehension. Please cause the blinders to fall from our eyes so that we might see Truth — this Truth — that the same power that raised You from the dead dwells in us because of Your sweet Holy Spirit. You have made a way for us to rise from the ruins. Within us is Your power to be transformed from glory to glory into Your likeness. We can experience the resurrection power of forgiveness that breaks the chains keeping us bound.

I sat along the river’s edge and listened to the unsung melody of water gliding over stones and gurgling on the other side, almost laughing at the obstacle of stone that thought it could stop the river flow. It’s interesting that the obstacle is what created the unsung melody of the water.

Lord, I long to be near You. Draw me ever nearer. Hide me beneath the shadow of Your wings until these calamities pass me by.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but You O Lord promise to deliver us out of them all. You are faithful and true, merciful and kind. Because You are for us, who can dare to be against us? You have made us the head and not the tail. You have made us overcomers, Your special treasure. You have called us as Your own. Bless You Lor

I strolled along our country road needing a few moments alone with the Lord. You know … clear my mind, roll some burdens over on Him. I wanted to remind myself of His faithfulness. I needed to press in — let the praise flow once again.

I experienced a lot of brokenness over the past few years. Often I felt like a jumbled pile of brokenness left for dead. I know I am not alone. Many of my Christian brothers and sisters are facing desperate situations.
