Father, I am so thankful for Your peace — Your wonderful peace that often makes no sense. Your peace isn’t the absence of chaos, but the sense of contentment, and tranquility in our difficult places.
Your peace is a gift … and I know it well. Why would I not take hold of it? Why would I listen to the lies of the enemy, or choose to focus on circumstances instead of You? Why would I allow anxious thoughts to rule my heart?
