I Need You, Lord
Breathe on me, Breath of God — I need You so. Rekindle the flame, teach my heart to love You more. Replenish my soul.
I’m weary, Lord, but in You I find peace. Lead me to Your secret place where I find shelter from the difficulties of life. Where I can learn the mysteries of who You are.
You alone are my hope.
In Your presence is joy unspeakable.
Breathe on me, Breath of God, and fill me with life anew. Cup my face in Your hands and lift my chin so I might behold Your glory. When I look to You the things on earth grow small and less consuming. When I look to You, I am filled with wonder, and praise escapes my lips. Spontaneous worship of You — the One True God — flows freely. And deeply. And Your presence overwhelms me in light.
Thank You, Lord. You are my light in the darkness, my song in the night. Cause Your Word to come alive in me that I might know You more. May I be a sweet aroma to You.
Breathe on me, Breath of God, and lift the burden of my heart. It’s too heavy for me. Breathe new life into my weary soul and strengthen me to press on.
Breathe on Me, Breath of God, and I Will be Strengthened
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Renew my heart and make me whole. For Thine is the power and the glory forever.
You are my God and I am Your daughter. I will forever praise Your holy Name, my Lord and my King.
