“Great is the Lord, and highly [greatly] to be praised,
And His greatness is [so vast and profound as to be] unsearchable [incomprehensible to man].” ~ Psalm 145:3, AMP
“Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.” ~ Isaiah 40:28-29, NKJV
“I will praise the Lord at all times.
I will constantly speak His praises.
I will boast only in the Lord;
let all who are helpless take heart.
Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness;
let us exalt His name together.
I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me.
He freed me from all my fears.
Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
He saved me from all my troubles.
For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
He surrounds and defends all who fear him.” ~ Psalm 34:1-7, NLT
“Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.” ~ Hebrews 13:15, AMP
I Hold Fast to the Knowledge of Your Greatness
Father, You are high and lifted up. Your majesty fills the heavens and Your glory covers the earth. Great are You, Lord and greatly to be praised! Indeed, all praise is due Your Name … even if.
Thank You for teaching me this. Thank You for teaching me that I can trust You, especially in the difficult places when I don’t understand. I can trust Your goodness, I can trust Your faithfulness because You are for me and not against me.
![Why do I worry? Why do I fret?](https://www.nanjones.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/thinking-2-1.jpg)
You promise to take what was meant for evil and turn it for my good. You promise to work everything together for my good and for Your glory, so why do I worry? Why do I fret? Your love will never fail me.
Time and time again, I have pictured a woven tapestry — my life. The colors are exquisite, and the image is full of grace and beauty … from the front. But the back — the place where everything connects and creates, and stops and starts, is a mess. There is no rhyme or reason.
You have shown me the knots, the grayed threads, the unexpected route the tapestry-maker took to get a color to the other side.
![You have shown me the beautiful masterpiece You create from the places that don't make sense.](https://www.nanjones.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/thinking-3-1.jpg)
You have shown me that everything in my life — the good, the bad, and the ugly has a purpose.
You have shown me the beautiful masterpiece You create from the places that don’t make sense.
So, even if I don’t understand, even if I don’t like my circumstances, I have learned to give You a sacrifice of praise. Great are You, Lord! I know that I know I can trust You, for You are good.
Great Are You, Lord. I Trust You
When I praise You and give thanks when life is hard, my circumstances don’t usually change at that time, but my heart does. That’s because You draw near and give me peace. My eyes turn toward You and the difficult place loses its grip on me.
And I am helped.
I cherish Your love. Great are You, Lord, my God, and my King.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen ~ let it be so

Your “Offering” is a cause for my praise to our Father. Tirelessly and under duress you lift up the name of Jesus and I find new strength.
May God be gracious as ever as He lifts you up. Blessings dear Nan!
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. You have blessed me today, Nan
