“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.” ~ 2 Corinthians 3:5, NKJV
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” ~ 2 Corinthians 9:8, NKJV
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9, NKJV
Your Sufficiency, Lord, Completes Me
Lord, You are El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient God. In You, there is no lack. Your sufficiency meets my insufficiency and I am complete — lacking nothing. But on the hard days, I tend to forget this. Teach me to walk in the sufficiency of Your grace at all times.
Your grace is such a blessing — a gift from on high. Your grace strengthens me and bathes me in peace in the unlikeliest of places. Your grace goes before me making the crooked places straight and gives me favor in the here and now.

I know this. I believe this. I have experienced this. And yet sometimes I get caught up in the worries of the moment focusing only on the problem and I find myself in a frenzy. Unnecessarily.
Help me overcome this tendency, Lord. Help me walk consistently in the sufficiency of Your grace. My faith shouldn’t waiver. Neither should my recognition of Your abundant grace in the difficult places falter.
Awaken my heart to remember and look for Your grace, for surely Your mercies are new every morning, Your compassions fail not … neither does Your grace, for Your promises are true.
I Will Walk in the Sufficiency of Your Grace
Thank You for Your grace. It is freely given –I freely receive and, with Your help, will work to walk in its sufficiency in every moment.

Eyes wide open to see.
Heart awakened to respond in thanksgiving.
Hands opened wide to receive from you.
Bless You, Lord. Thank You for Your longsuffering with me. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for Your grace so abundant to me.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen — let it be so
