You Whispered My Name at the Cross, Jesus
Lord, I love You, and I am so thankful for my salvation. May I never take it for granted. When I consider the works of Your hands, when I think about You, the Lord of lords and the King of kings, knowing my name, I am overwhelmed with wonder.
How can it be? Before I was formed in my mother’s womb, You knew me. When You suffered and died on the Cross, I was on Your mind. I cannot fathom such love, yet I know Your love is true. I am embraced by the depth of Your love, transformed and renewed — Jesus, You restore my soul.
I Know I’m Not Worthy, Lord, but You Say I Am
Lord, Your love amazes me. Always has … always will. You look beyond my exterior and see straight into my heart — a heart that adores You, yet a heart that is not always pure, a heart that wrestles with the flesh and sometimes succumbs to the battle. I know I’m not worthy of Your love, but You say I am.
You have adopted me as Your child … You call me daughter. You tell me I am the apple of Your eye and that You take great pleasure in me, even though I fall short so often.

Jesus, what a beautiful Name! Your Name is excellent, powerful, and the sweetest Name I know. Thank You for loving me … thank You for making Your Name available to me when I need to speak with authority.
At the Name of Jesus, darkness flees and demons tremble. Fear loses its grip on me. At the mention of Your Name, my chaos turns to peace, and my despair turns to hope.
Call to Me, Lord, and I Will Come. I Need Rest
Father, You give rest to the weary, strength to the worn. In Your infinite power, You move mountains to reach Your child who needs You. You are such a wonderful Father … all that I need, Your hand has provided.
From the depths of the earth and to the heights of heaven, You have created all things. You know me, Lord. You search my heart and know my anxious thoughts.

The Shepherd’s Field, Where a Heart Connection Abides
On the outskirts of Bethlehem, a grass-covered field lays as an emerald gem against the backdrop of dusty, dry desert. It’s known as the Shepherd’s Field. Multiple shepherds bring their flocks to graze and lie down upon the tender grass.
As the sun begins to inch towards the horizon at the closing of the day, each shepherd calls to his sheep. To the observer, there is a cacophony of voices traveling across the hillside. But to the sheep, they hear one voice — the voice of their own shepherd.
Give Me Singleness of Heart, God. I’m So Distracted
Father, Your greatest commandment is that we love You with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. With my entire being, I love You, Lord! Yet, I am struggling with distractions in my devotion. My singleness of heart is being challenged by difficult places.
You are worthy of all my love. You are worthy of all praise. You are my Lord, but my time with You is constantly being interrupted — many times by my own choices. This is not what I want.
Where is God When Circumstances are Difficult?
Dreaded feelings of captivity washed over me while I tossed and turned. I pulled the covers tighter as the nightmare consumed me — the imaginary chains yanking on my ankles, keeping me bound in dark and painful circumstances.
My circumstances were hard to understand. Difficult.
Confusing.
They seemed to have no end.
