Lord, speak "Peace, be still" over all the earth

 “And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, ‘Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?’ Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, ‘Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?’” ~ Mark 4:37-40, NKJV

“To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on You with steadfast confidence],
Do not let me be ashamed or my hope in You be disappointed;
Do not let my enemies triumph over me.
Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed;
Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed).
Let me know Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
Guide me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You [and only You] I wait [expectantly] all the day long.” Psalm 25:1-5, AMP

“This is what the Sovereign Lord,
    the Holy One of Israel, says:
“Only in returning to me
    and resting in me will you be saved.
In quietness and confidence is your strength.
    But you would have none of it.” ~ Isaiah 30:15, NLT

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” ~ Jeremiah 32:27, NKJV

Oh, Lord, Have Mercy on Us!

Father, You are the holy Lord God Almighty — Holy. Righteous. King over all the earth. Behold, You are the God of all flesh! Is there anything too hard for You? Speak Lord, “Peace, be still.” Quiet the tumult that rages over the earth.

have mercy on us, Lord!

You are Jehovah Shalom, the Lord our peace. There is no other like You. All thrones and dominions, all powers and positions … Your Name stands above them all. Your Name is the greatest.

Arrest the enemy. Speak, “Peace be still” and he must submit to Your authority. Send him back to the depths of hell from whence he came. Subdue the flesh of mankind that has taken on depravity just as You warned us, and send forth Your light into this darkness.

You Will Never Leave Nor Forsake Your Children, Lord

O Lord, have mercy on us!

I cannot recognize this world, this nation. The contrast between evil and good is phenomenal, even frightening. And yet, I find Your peace in the midst of the turmoil because You are with me — You will never leave nor forsake Your children. Your faithfulness reaches to the highest heavens and bends to the lowest valley.

Peace, be still

To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. I trust in You and rely on You with steadfast confidence. I know You will not fail me as Your child nor disappoint the hope I have placed in You. Show me Your ways and teach me Your paths. Lead me in the ways of righteousness. I am Your vessel. Fill me up and pour me out, Lord. Shine Your light through me into the darkness.

Lord, Speak “Peace, be still”

I will remain faithful while I wait for You to speak, “Peace, be still” over this storm.

You are good! You are merciful and kind, faithful and true. Hide me beneath the shadow of Your wing until these calamities pass me by.

In Jesus’s Name I pray,

Amen ~ let it be so
