In my quest for understanding, I must recognize the role I play in clarifying the mystery blurring the line between heaven and earth.

In my quest for understanding, I observed marshmallow clouds melting into a frothy veil of fog coming over the mountain ridge. The thick white blanket settled softly, blurring the line between heaven and earth. Dandelion wisps of cool foggy air moved in and out of the forest’s edge — the contrast of light and darkness exaggerated, spotlighted.

In Our Quest for Understanding, God Will Reveal Himself

Indeed, there is a contrast.
This mystery of Light and darkness.

The Light of God settles softly upon His child, blurring the line between heaven and earth. Wisps of His love move in and out of my life, contrasting the darkness, exaggerating His Presence.

And like the mountain forest wrapped in a frothy veil of foggy light, I walk in the veil of His glory, wrapped in the beauty of His love.

In my quest for understanding, I must recognize the role I play in clarifying the mystery. Do I walk in the veil of His glory emanating from His presence in my life?

In my quest for understanding … I understand.
At last, I understand.

Job described it well: “When His lamp shone upon my head, by His light I walked through darkness.” ~ Job 29:3

All about us darkness seems to have descended upon the earth, upon our nation, upon the hearts of mankind. But as I understand it — as I believe and know that God is with me, and you — the light of His presence can be amplified in this present darkness.

For as we go about our daily lives, wisps of His love go with us. His light penetrates the darkness. The sweet aroma of Christ beckons to a lost and hurting world.

There is a mystery surrounding the co-existence of light and darkness. There is a mystery in the blurring between heaven and earth.

But Jesus, through us, makes Himself known.

How Can I Bring Clarity to the Mystery of Light and Darkness

In my quest for understanding, I must recognize the role I play in clarifying the mystery. Do I walk in the veil of His glory emanating from His presence in my life?

Do my words and actions point to Him?

And do the wisps of His love, through me, move in and out of the darkness drawing the lost to His light?
