Lord, You are the God of all comfort, my refuge in the difficult place. You are Wonderful, Counselor … the Prince of Peace. Oh, how I need Your peace. Will You quiet me with Your love?

Your love is so much stronger than whatever troubles me. I need You like I never have before, yet … I’m thankful because I know You like never before. This difficult place is teaching me who You are — the Keeper of my soul, the One who steadies my heart, the One who quiets me with His love.

Please Hold Me, Lord. You are the Keeper of My Soul

Father, You are the Keeper of my soul — my provider, my protector, my sure place. You will not allow my foot to be moved; You who keep me will not slumber. You watch over me day and night — no weapon formed against me will ever prosper.

Thank You, Lord. It is in You that I live, and move, and have my being — You are a shield about me, You surround me with songs of deliverance as I call upon Your mighty Name.

Lord, O Lord, You are Jehovah tsidkenu — the Lord my righteousness. Without You, there is no righteousness. Without You there is no redemption, no cleansing of the heart to prepare room for Your indwelling Holy Spirit. You are my Abba Father whose unfailing love will never walk away from me.

Be born in me, Lord. Make my heart Your Bethlehem.

Father, I adore You. You are the All-Sufficient God who meets my insufficiencies and supplies all my needs. Your grace is sufficient, Your love is steadfast — unfailing. Whom have I in heaven, but You?

There is none like You, Lord. You hung the stars in place. You spoke into the darkness and there was light. You created the earth as You hovered over the chaos. Even when I throw a tantrum like a frustrated child, You don’t condemn me.

I am so undeserving, so insignificant in the whole scheme of things, and yet You call me Your daughter — daughter of the King.

Lord, I am so thankful that when I walk thorough the fire, I won’t be burned because You are with me. When I walk through the turbulent water, I won’t drown because You will carry me safely to the other side. I believe this, and yet my heart is struggling. Please quiet me with Your love Lord.

Your peace is all about me and settles me in my times of need — but I’m struggling beneath the burdens of others. I see their pain, the injustices, the devastation of lives lost, and my heart breaks. I want to fix it for them, but I can’t.

You can, Lord.
